Marie-Josée Bérard is a Licensed Massage Therapist, CranioSacral Therapist, Florida CEU Infant Massage Instructor, and founder of Baby Wellness Massage. She completed her massage therapy training in Montreal, Canada, where prenatal massage was part of the curriculum.
When she moved to the United States, she was one of the few massage therapists in her area with specialized prenatal massage training, so she naturally became the therapist expectant mothers turned to.
As a former Canadian track and field athlete, Marie-Josée was accustomed to pushing through discomfort. At first, she didn't fully understand why pregnancy could be so physically challenging until she experienced two difficult pregnancies of her own.
 

A Passion Rooted in Her Own Story

Marie-Josée’s journey into baby wellness and infant massage began with a deeply personal experience. At just 11 months old, she fell from the second floor of a building and suffered a skull fracture. Thankfully, she made a full recovery. Years later, when her parents shared this childhood experience with her during her teenage years, it sparked a lasting curiosity about the importance of gentle care during a baby’s earliest stages of development.

That experience, combined with her own two difficult pregnancies and extensive experience in prenatal massage, inspired Marie-Josée to dedicate her career to supporting both mothers and babies. She continued her education and specialized training in infant massage, pediatric wellness, and craniosacral therapy, building the knowledge needed to provide compassionate, nurturing care.

Today, with more than 35 years of experience, she specializes in prenatal, postpartum, infant, and pediatric care.

Marie-Josée provides hands-on sessions for babies experiencing discomfort associated with colic, acid reflux, constipation, fussiness, and many other concerns. Most importantly, she is passionate about empowering parents with practical skills that help them feel more confident, capable, and connected to their babies.

Doctors, birth centers, hospitals, and schools turn to Marie-Josée when they want trusted guidance on prenatal, postpartum, and baby care.
